Flower Guild
The mission of the Flower Guild is to enhance the worship service glorifying God by the sharing of our creative gifts to adorn the sanctuary. Our ministry is to joyfully present to God offerings of natural beauty. We have 9 teams of flower arrangers. This means that each team is on duty once every two months. Many of us are self-taught, and enjoy the creativity and fellowship in meeting the weekly requirements of flower arrangements for the altar. We honor the requests of our congregation members who are sponsoring the flowers that week with their choice of flower types and colors if possible. This personalizes their request to remember a loved one or in celebration and thanksgiving for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. We decorate the church for special events during the church year--Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Easter, and Pentecost. Please come and join us. No experience necessary.
